Leah Anthony

Leah is a Diabetes Specialist Nurse with several years of experience working with children, young people and adults with diabetes. Leah qualified as a children’s nurse at Northumbria University in 2013 and completed her MSc Practice Development at Northumbria University in 2017. Before coming to the London Diabetes Centre Leah worked with the adult diabetes team at Luton and Dunstable Hospital and the paediatric diabetes team at Barts Health NHS Trust.

Leah is especially interested in the use of technology to help manage diabetes and improve quality of life. This includes the use of hybrid closed loop systems and how these can impact both on diabetes management and on psychological health. She has always been interested in the links between diabetes and psychological health issues.

Leah also prepares medicolegal reports and acts as an expert witness.
